Occupational therapists and occupational therapy assistants focus on the things you want and need to do in your daily life. Occupational therapy intervention uses everyday life activities (occupations) to promote health, well-being, and your ability to participate in the important activities in your life. This includes any meaningful activity that a person wants to accomplish, including taking care of yourself and your family, working, volunteering, going to school, among many others.

Liz graduated from Brenau University in 2012 with concurrent degrees, a Bachelor of Science (concentration in pre-occupational therapy) and a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. She has practiced in hospitals, clinics, home health settings, and two different school districts. Liz is pursuing her Hippotherapy Clinical Specialist Certification, and finds great joy in utilizing equine movement in her therapy sessions with all age groups. Liz has been married to her husband, Robert, since 2013 and has two beautiful daughters, Sofia and Emilia.
